Being local isn’t a slogan here, it’s a drive time
Most pool companies that advertise at the lake are driving in from somewhere. That’s fine until a heater fails on a Friday in July, and then it’s the whole problem — you’re not competing for a slot on the schedule, you’re competing for someone’s willingness to make a ninety minute round trip.
We’re ten minutes from most Camdenton addresses. That changes what we can promise. A green pool gets looked at today instead of Thursday. A part run doesn’t cost you a second service call. And if a tech finds something mid-route that needs a second set of eyes, someone can actually come.
It also means we know these pools. A lot of Camdenton homes were built in the eighties and nineties and still have original plumbing and equipment pads. We’ve had the covers off most of them at some point, and we’ll tell you when a repair is worth doing versus when you’re better off replacing a pump that’s going to fail again next season.
Year-round homes, not just summer places
Camdenton has more full-time residents than the waterfront towns, and those pools get used differently — heavier through the season, opened earlier, closed later. We schedule openings from April and run closings through October, and we’ll push either end if the weather cooperates.
Older equipment pads
If your pad still has the original single-speed pump, you’re paying for it every month. Missouri’s efficiency rules have pushed the market to variable-speed and the payback is usually a season or two. We’ll quote it honestly, including the case for leaving a working pump alone.
What we do in Camdenton
Weekly cleaning
Standard, Essential and Elite plans. Skim, brush, vacuum, test and balance, with a report after every visit.
Repairs
Pumps, filters, heaters, leak detection and salt systems. Common parts ride on the truck so most repairs don't need a second trip.
Openings and closings
Cover off, equipment started, water balanced in spring. Lines blown, returns plugged, cover on in fall. Billed separately.
Camdenton questions
How fast can you get here?
Usually same day for anything urgent, because we’re based in town. Routine work goes on the regular schedule.
Do you cover Horseshoe Bend?
Yes, it’s on the route. Same for Linn Creek and Macks Creek.
My pump is loud and the pool isn’t clearing.
Usually a bearing or an air leak on the suction side, and those are different repairs with very different prices. We’ll diagnose before quoting rather than guessing at a number over the phone.
Is it worth upgrading to a variable-speed pump?
Often yes, on a pool that runs all season. The energy savings typically cover the pump within a couple of years. On a pool that runs two months a year, the math is weaker and we’ll say so.
When should I open?
April, in most years. Opening early costs a little more in chemicals and saves a lot in algae recovery, because water that sits warm under a cover turns fast.
Is there a contract?
No. Nothing to sign, no cancellation fee.
