What Rolla pools actually need
Rolla fills from Ozark groundwater, and that water is hard. Every gallon you top off with carries calcium into the pool, and over a season it shows up in the same three places: a chalky ring at the tile line, scale inside the filter, and a salt cell that stops producing because it's crusted over.
It's the most common thing we get called about in Rolla, and it's almost always presented as something else. People call because the water looks cloudy or the chlorine reading won't hold, when the actual problem is calcium and a saturation index that's been drifting for months.
So the water testing we do here isn't just chlorine and pH. We track calcium hardness and alkalinity across the season and tell you when the pool needs a partial drain and refill instead of another bag of shock. That conversation saves people real money, and it's why our tile lines stay clean without acid washing every year.
Rental properties near Missouri S&T
Rolla has a lot of pools attached to rental houses, and they have a different problem: nobody is watching them. A filter runs dry, an owner is two hours away, and the first anyone hears about it is when the water turns. Our service report goes out after every visit with readings and a photo, so a landlord in St. Louis or Springfield can see the pool without driving down.
Year-round, not just summer
Rolla isn't a second-home market the way the lake is. Most of these pools belong to people who live here, use them all summer, and want them opened early and closed properly. We schedule openings starting in April and run closings through October. Both are billed separately from weekly service.

Rolla questions
Do you actually come to Rolla, or is it a drive-out?
Rolla is a scheduled route, not a favor. We run a regular day here and you'll be told which day it is before your first visit. If we ever can't cover your address well, we'll say so instead of taking the job.
My tile line has a white crust. Can you get it off?
Usually yes. Light calcium comes off with a bead blast or a pumice pass during regular service. Heavy scale that's been building for years may need a drain and acid wash, which we quote separately. We'll tell you honestly which one you're looking at.
My salt cell stopped making chlorine.
Nine times out of ten in Rolla it's scaled, not dead. Cells need periodic acid cleaning and hard fill water shortens the interval. We check cell condition on Elite plans as part of service and can clean or replace on any plan.
I own a rental here but live out of town.
That's a lot of our Rolla work. You get the readings and a photo after every visit by text or email, so you can see the pool without driving down. If something's wrong we tell you the same day rather than waiting for next week.
Do you cover Doolittle, Newburg or St. James?
Yes, they're on the Rolla route. Call with the address and we'll confirm before you commit to anything.
Is there a contract?
No. Nothing to sign and no cancellation fee. Call or text and we'll take you off the route.
